Welcome back to another edition of the v2 Wrestling podcast and welcome to
all of our listeners on and

This week the team is made up of your host Adam, along with regulars
Gavin, Chris and Rich who proceed to talk about the goings on in both TNA
and WWE.

We kick off by looking back at last weeks Full Metal Mayhem match between
the Wolves, Hardys and Dudleys. The conversation centres around whether
this type of match is what wrestling should be about in 2014 or whether
it’s a relic of the past.

The TNA section then moves on to highlights of the recent Gail Kim
interview (click here to listen -
and looking at the actions of Bully Ray and his BFG Bullet Club actions –
was this disrespectful to TNA and Wrestle 1? Did they know about it? Did
they approve it?
We follow on with the question of the week – who should be main eventing?
The best wrestlers or the best talkers? We look at examples of both and
quickly come to the conclusion that there are very few who are great at
both. Who do you think are the best talkers and what do you think is the
most important aspect for a wrestler to have. Can stars be made who are
poor promoers?

We then move on to WWE a quick recap of the main events on RAW, as we
analyse the change of PPV main event and look at some of the other talking
points. Is Dean Ambrose that good on the mic? Tune in to find out our
Next week the show will have Chris Masters on, so if you have any
questions for him, please let us know!

If you want to answer our question of the week, please email us at or contact us through twitter or facebook and
please make sure to submit any questions you would like us to discuss!

Welcome back to another edition of the v2 Wrestling podcast and welcome to all of our listeners on and!

This week the team is made up of your host Adam, along with regulars Gavin, Chris and Rich who proceed to talk about the goings on in both TNA and WWE.

We kick off by looking back at last weeks TNA questions of whether TNA should consider resetting all of the current feuds going on in favour of new ones for their new network.

Most people were in agreement that the only feud worth continuing was the James Storm one.

The TNA section then moves on to a discussion around wrestlers legacies and specifically if any TNA wrestlers could be considered “legends” if they haven’t wrestled in WWE. The conversation brings up the usual suspects of Styles, Joe and even the Wolves.

And this is our question of the week:

Do you think that any current or past TNA wrestlers will be considered legends of the industry, if they don’t have a major run in WWE?

We finish off with a discussion around last weeks main event of Kim vs Havok – should women be main eventing?

We then move on to WWE and the events of RAW.

We start off by answering the second question of last week - "How would you repackage Sheamus to make him even remotely interesting?".

Unfortunately, no one came up with any good ideas bar a vampire or victorian ghost.

The main discussion points revolve around the Rocks return and the unbelievability of Dean Ambroses current gimmick.

And this leads on to our WWE question of the week – As Ambrose went stereorypical with a local gimmick (the Coney Island hot dog stand), we ask which city and local gimmick would you like to see Ambrose turn up with next week?

We finish off by having a discussion about whether feuds need a title to be main event.

If you want to answer any of these question , please email us at the address below of contact us through twitter or facebook.

See you next week!

V2 Wrestling Podcast - Brock Lesnar Special

We're late, we're late, I know! But it's Gavin's fault. He made comments so offensive on the last podcast that the V2 legal team refused to publish it.

After a god awful week of wrestling we chose to talk the Beast Incarnate - Brock Lesnar.

The best thing in professional wrestling by some distance, we talk about his current impact and what it is that makes Lesnar work so well.

v2 Wrestling Podcast 26th August: Hardcore Wrestling, Bookers and Dean Ambrose
August 27, 2014 01:47 AM PDT

This week Adam is joined by Chris, Gavin and Richard to discuss the latest big stories in wrestling.

We start as ever with TNA, and some interesting big picture discussion, from bringing back a hardcore division to which ex-wrestlers could be useful additions to the booking team. The question of Lo Ki's ethnicity is taken to those in the know, and even they don't know. Meanwhile we get an update on MVP's latest off-air shenanigans.

It's then on to WWE, and one of the most mind-bogglingly boring episodes of Raw in history. But there is still plenty to digest, as we look at how each member of The Shield has progressed since their break-up, and Rich explains his obsession with Dean Ambrose.

Thanks for all your responses to our questions of the week. This week we ask whether anybody in the history of the world - other than Sheamus - has ever noticed the similarities between Sheamus and Cesaro? We'd also like to hear your comparisons between other wrestlers who have nothing in common.
